What drew you to this practice area?   

It allows me to help individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments while advocating for those who are vulnerable or have been harmed by people they should have been able to trust.

A case, matter, or project you're especially proud of.  

I am extremely proud of my service as a public defender. 

What does being part of this community of women lawyers mean to you?   

This community means having a supportive network of women who are committed to helping one another succeed. It’s a place where we can share knowledge, offer guidance, and navigate the challenges of being a female attorney—whether in the office, the courtroom, at home, or in the community.

One word your colleagues would use to describe you.

Principled.

What's something people are surprised to learn about you?   

I grew up on a hobby farm in rural Minnesota.
