VOICE

MDFAWL speaks out about non-partisan issues relating to its mission and affecting its members, such as the Florida Supreme Court’s adoption of the Parental-Leave Continuance Rule (Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.570) and the criminalization of sexual cyberharassment

(Fla. Stat. § 784.049).

NETWORKING

MDFAWL enables its members to grow their networks to include members of the judiciary, corporate counsel, community partners, and representatives from other voluntary bar organizations.

LEADERSHIP

MDFAWL hosts training programs to provide its members with skills needed for professional advancement.

SERVICE

Service is at the core of MDFAWL’s mission. MDFAWL members give back to the South Florida community by providing pro bono representation to the indigent, treating foster youths to an annual picnic, donating goods to women’s and children’s shelters,

and more.

MENTORSHIP

MDFAWL provides its more experienced members the opportunity to mentor other MDFAWL members, including through MDFAWL’s popular speed mentoring events.

INCLUSION
