What type of legal work do you do?

I left private practice in order to speak, write, and consult on disability and neurodiversity inclusion. It's a blast, and sometimes I get to bring my legal background into it to discuss considerations under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

When and why did you join MDFAWL?

I met the wonderful humans at MDFAWL when I was a 3L at the University of Miami School of Law, when I presented a CLE as part of the Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program. MDFAWL welcomed me with open arms when I was sworn in as a member of The Florida Bar back in 2019, and it's been a great way to make new friends, meet people, and feel connected to a bunch of inspiring women in Miami's legal community.

What advice do you have for women in the legal profession?

Actually be yourself. It's so easy to feel like you have to "fit" a certain mold or into certain boxes as a woman lawyer, but being authentic and true to you is a really bold move that should be celebrated more often within this profession as we continue to strive toward true inclusivity.

When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you use it?

You can likely find me playing video games or drawing pictures. 🙂
