Congratulations to Chiani Murray, Recipient of the MDFAWL Sookie Williams Scholarship!
Chiani is a 2L at FIU College of Law where she serves as Treasurer of the Caribbean Law Students Association and as a Law Student Division Governor for The Florida Bar YLD. Growing up in the South Bronx, she witnessed economic instability and the power of community. She currently mentors at-risk youth and promotes their educational and professional advancement. She intends to practice family, criminal, child advocacy, and immigration law, with the goal of starting a non-profit legal services organization.
