Meet MDFAWL Board Leadership Scholarship Recipient, Dorysped Mancebo

Congratulations to Dorysped Mancebo, recipient of the MDFAWL Board Leadership Scholarship!

Dory is a 1L at FIU College of Law where she serves as the 1L representative for the Disability Rights Law Association and is a member of the Women's Law Society. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dory came to the United States due to discrimination. As a blind law student, she has a desire to mentor other blind women and to seek employment equality for people with disabilities. Upon graduation, she intends to enter the foreign service.
