Lotus House shelters high special needs women and children, most of whom are persons of color lacking meaningful access to safe affordable housing, child care, education, health care, economic opportunity, and social and economic justice. Lotus House is committed to advancing the status of women and children, providing sanctuary with deep therapeutic supports to heal and enriched resources to reclaim lives marked by violence, poverty and discrimination, so that they may blossom into who they are meant to be.
The 110 school-aged children that are currently guests at Lotus House are in need of school supplies, uniforms, undergarments, and other basics to get them ready to go back to school for the 2021-2022 school year, and MDFAWL and its amazing members are here to help!

We will also be collecting supplies at our Leadership Retreat Saturday, July 31st!
