It’s back-to-school season! Many of our members are gearing up to help with homework assignments, brave the pick-up line, and support their children through another year of learning and growth. In the spirit of supporting all children in our community during this important time, MDFAWL is hosting a school supply drive benefiting the children of Lotus House.
Lotus House is the country’s largest shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. Lotus House focuses on a multi-layered, holistic approach to providing resources to their residents, helping residents reach their full potential as they transition to new homes. This year, the residence is serving a record-breaking number of women and children, making our donations even more important.
