If you have not already responded to our previous requests, I strongly encourage you to volunteer with “Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back,” (“DLA/PSB”) the Official Pro Bono Program of our Circuit. If you already participate, now is the time to increase your involvement. Your support is essential to ensure that the impactful work of "Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back" continues to address the unmet civil legal needs facing vulnerable children, teens, families, the disabled, the elderly, veterans and nonprofits with nowhere else to turn for assistance.
Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back successfully represents thousands of clients each year facing evictions, foreclosures, bankruptcy, domestic violence, probate and other unaddressed critical legal issues. As Chief Judge of our Circuit, I urge you to address this crisis now by volunteering with Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back by accepting a case, staffing a clinic, lecturing at a seminar, serving as a mentor or participating in an approved project.
