MDFAWL will also be hosting a raffle/silent auction and donation drive for Free the Girls (an international 501(c)(3) non-profit that, using an economic empowerment model, helps formerly trafficked women in developing countries become entrepreneurs). Free the Girls collects and provides bras for these entrepreneurs to sell in their communities’ second-hand clothing markets and Dress for Success (a national 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence and that provides a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life).
One item donated for Free the Girls (new or gently used, clean bras) or Dress for Success (new or gently used work wear, including clothes, jewelry, or shoes) will get you one ticket to our raffle.
