Legal Services of Greater Miami Smalls Claims Clinic on April 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.: The Pro Bono Committee is seeking attorneys to volunteer at a legal clinic for low-income clients on small claims matters. Volunteer attorneys would be simplifying the Small Claims Court process for low-income individuals who want to initiate their own pro se small claims action. Volunteer attorneys would provide simple legal advice and help clients complete the necessary forms to initiate their case. No experience in Small Claims Court or with litigation is necessary! LSGMI will be providing an orientation where the nuts and bolts of the Small Claims Court process will be reviewed.
